Sunday School is held during our 10:00 am worship service on Sunday mornings throughout the school year. Children may sit with their parents for the beginning of worship, and they will be called forward for "Kids' Time", after which the children will be dismissed for Sunday School with their teachers. After worship, parents may pick up their child from the Sunday School classrooms, located in our Preschool wing. Please note, the first Sunday of each month is "Family Worship Sunday", and there is no Sunday School on these days. This is a special time for children to be present in worship with their families, and we offer various ways for families to be involved in elements of the worship service.
Nursery Care is available for children from birth-3 years old. The Nursery is open on Sunday mornings during our 10:00 worship service, as well as Wednesday evenings during our Pathfinders Bible studies.
The 456 is a youth group opportunity for students in 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. It is a space for kids to gain clarity from the truth of God's Word, and talk through their questions in a safe, Christ-centered environment. We meet in the Good Shepherd youth room on Wednesday nights from 6:00-7:30, and gather monthly for a Sunday service project or activity.
Confirmation Classes: Good Shepherd has a Confirmation program for youth in grades 7, 8 & 9 who wish to grow in their faith and be confirmed at the end of this two and a half year program. Classes are held on Sundays at 11:30 am in the Gathering Room beginning in September.
Enduring Faith is a midweek family experience that reaches kids where they're at and walks alongside them on their faith journey. Join the fun on Wednesday nights from 6:00-7:30 PM.
