Every week at Good Shepherd we step into the presence of God to receive the love and mercy He has for us and to respond with praise and thanksgiving. Worshiping together is something that the Good Shepherd family values. Worship services are held at several times over a weekend. We hope and pray that God will lead you to a service that blesses you.
There are several styles of worship available to you.
Saturday evening at 5:00 pm is Informal Blended worship, a more casual service of prayer and preaching; a blend of new and old favorite songs and hymns plus a Biblical, life-related teaching. Sunday morning at 8:30 am is classic, traditional Lutheran worship with Lutheran liturgy, hymns, and Biblical, life-related teaching. There are children's activity bags at the back of the sanctuary for your child's use during the services.
We have a Contemporary Praise service at 10:00 am, contemporary worship and praise music and Biblical, life-related teaching. During the 10:00 am service we have a staffed nursery for children from birth to three years old. Children in preschool through 6th grade are invited to attend our Sunday School classes. Classrooms are labeled by age/grade and are located in the East end of the building. The music for this service is led by our Praise Band. The first Sunday of every month is Family Worship Sunday when children stay with their families for the entire service; the service includes songs for children and an interactive Biblical, life-related teaching for children and adults.
